The Congregation has to carry out its mission by an attentiveness which Fr. Medaille intended should be characterized by that 'Perfect & cordial charity' with which Joseph cared for Jesus and Mary. That is why he placed his 'Little Design' under the title and protection of that great saint. (Const.) |

The "Little Design" (as the founder, Jean -Pierre Médaille, s.j. called the project for the first sisters of St. Joseph) is like a "seed" — tiny in itself yet containing the potential to develop into a great and strong plant. The strength of this "seed" is:
